Crocus Planting
This morning, Banstead Village in Bloom joined forces with Rotary Club Banstead and Banstead Horticultural Society. Four hard working men and an equally busy Diana Beck planted 6000 crocus bulbs to raise awareness for Rotary's Purple4Polio, 'End Polio Now' campaign.
Trenches were dug, bulbs were planted and we hope you enjoy the new spring show of 6000 crocus next year.
Later this afternoon, the same two volunteers from Banstead Village in Bloom put up the poppies in the High Street. You will see one in the photo. Thanks Pete and Steve for all your hard work.
