Raised beds in the Holly Lane allotments

Two of Banstead in Bloom's volunteers weeded and dug over four raised beds in the Holly Lane allotments today. The beds have been taken on by Princess Alice Hospice as a community-based project but due to the Covid situation their volunteers have been unable to work on them. Banstead Village in Bloom offered to give some temporary help until PAH can take over. We will be sowing four different mixes of wildflower seed in the next few weeks and we hope that you will enjoy seeing the beds bloom in the summer months
