Updating All Saints Church front wall bed

Banstead Village in Bloom volunteers worked very hard today, updating All Saints Church front wall bed along the High Street.

They lifted all the existing planting, our three strapping men, Mike, Steve and Pete, dug over the bed removing heavy roots, rubble and weeds.

Two very generous Banstead residents and volunteers donated the fantastic rocks which we have placed in the bed. We then relocated the planting and it all looks wonderful. Please take a look when you are next passing. Thanks also to the very kind lady who gave us some biscuits, they went down a treat, thank you.
